The Omni Bedford Springs offers a historic and luxurious resort experience with beautiful grounds, multiple dining options, and a range of amenities. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in cleanliness, service quality, and occasional operational issues, particularly regarding staffing and room maintenance. A 3-star (barely) resort with 4-star+ pricing. Very cool historical feel and the valet and restaurant staff were mostly excellent. Otherwise, very underwhelming for the price. Room was dated and shower had tons of mold/dirt in grout. HVAC system was horrible. Terrible! Really noisy that woke you up constantly at night. Stayed 3 nights and got no maid service until I called because we were out of toilet paper, tissues, and the trash was over flowing. They came in about 30 mins and were pleasant. But still. Activities were expensive and basically rubbish. Booked a bike tour and they had no kids bikes for us. Huh? (They did refund it. Or not, see below.) Most of the staff were quite good and the other guests were very friendly. The place felt extremely safe. But I can't say (never, see below) I would come back at the current pricing. I really wanted to like it more. Changed to 1 star from 3. They massively overcharged us vs their initial email confirmation. Said they were refunding us the the activity fee and then charged it twice. 100% will NEVER be back. Do not come here.

We had a truly wonderful time and were so impressed with this property in all of its restored glory. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the historical authenticity they captured makes it feel like a step back in time with all of the modern amenities you would hope for. The grounds are stunning and the pools were perfect. We hope to return again to enjoy such a peaceful escape.

Had a great time last weekend with a group of friends. We had 4 couples. Spa and food was fantastic! Staff was great! However, while dining together both nights, the servers said they could not give us separate bills. We just wanted to charge to our rooms. The first night, after 30minutes waiting on the bill, they split the bill 4 ways and some were charged a different amount. We just signed and left since we waited so long. The next night, same thing, told we could not get separate bills. They charged one person 40% and another 60% of the whole bill. We just venmoed each other. They need to work on this.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The good part includes the grounds and resort activities. The first time we stayed in old section which was dark and dated. I realize they are trying to honor the history, but they could have done a better job. The second time we stayed in the new section which was lighter and a bit better. However, the elevator to this section was broken and guests had to use a service elevator, which was crowded busy. and hot, The staff told us they were waiting for a part that would take a month to get. We had friends who stayed in Dec. and they told us it was Down Then as well. This is unacceptable. An Omni hotel should clearly have spare parts and a service contract for such occurrences. When we checked in, we were given a voucher for one beer or glass of wine. However, as a party of two, this seemed cheap to us…especially considering that we paid $600 a night. The value was just meh as far as we were concerned. Pretty average overall, and disappointing.

Absolutely amazing experience so far and I just got here! Late night check in went smoothly and they gladly took my car and parked it. Jocelyn and Judy are amazing and I loved how kind they were on the phone as well. Used to come with my grandparents and I’m so happy to know that they still keep up with the place as well as they did 10 years ago. Amenities are great and coffee and food is wonderful! If I could rate it even higher I would (Also it’s definitely a bit spooky with the ghosts that haunt around haha)

The Omni Bedford Springs is a truly memorable property. It has a level of history and character that you just do not find at most resorts anymore. From the moment you arrive, the place feels established, storied, and well cared for. The staff delivered exactly what I would expect from the Omni standard: professional, welcoming, polished, and attentive without being overbearing. The service matched the quality of the property, which made the stay feel easy and enjoyable. This is a great place for anyone who appreciates a resort with real history, charm, and a sense of place. Omni Bedford Springs is not just another hotel; it feels like stepping into a piece of American resort history, but with the comfort and service you expect today. Highly recommend.

We came here for a honeymoon weekend and left genuinely impressed with the property itself. Beautiful place, well maintained, and clearly historic in the best way. The grounds are immaculate and the golf course is flat out outstanding. Everyone coming off the course was raving, and after seeing it I understood why. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants were all solid with good menus and food that actually delivered. And if you make it out to Tillies at the golf course, ask for Trenton at the bar. Guy was outstanding, genuinely one of the highlights of the trip. Same goes for Wayne in Valet, who went way out of his way to help us. Those two alone are worth calling out. A few things to know before you book. This is not a budget getaway. Upcharges are everywhere and the drink prices are steep. Two cocktails at the lobby bar, an Old Fashioned and a margarita, came to $42 before tip. Just know what you're walking into. We were there during conferences and a wedding, which took over a lot of the common areas and made things feel crowded. It's a popular event venue, so check the calendar before you go if that matters to you. The TVs at Tillies are dated with no streaming, which is a real miss if you're a sports fan. If you want to catch a playoff game at the bar, you might be out of luck, especially since they close at 9pm on weekends. For a bar that gets that kind of traffic, it's an easy upgrade they should make. Overall, great weekend. Hiking, peaceful setting, beautiful property. Just don't come expecting to watch the game at 10pm on a Saturday.

My husband had a golf tournament. I went to First Ladies tea which was amazing. The food, tea, and my server Steven was amazing. The food was really good at 1796. My husband loved his steak and the lobster Mac and cheese was delicious. Our server Todd was also amazing. Today we had breakfast in the Crystal Room and the buffet is amazing. Again we had another amazing server Liz. The hotel staff is friendly and they all say hello in the halls. I highly recommend coming here. I am going to the spa today from what I experienced here I dont think it is going to disappoint. I have access to the pools and relaxing room. I will be there while my husband plays golf.

For anyone wondering if this hotel is amazing—it is more than amazing. From the moment you arrive, you’re treated with such genuine warmth and care that it completely elevates the entire experience. The staff is absolutely incredible—attentive, kind, and truly willing to go above and beyond in a way that you just don’t see often anymore. The food is phenomenal, with every meal feeling thoughtfully prepared and delicious, and the views are nothing short of spectacular—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. What really sets this place apart, though, is the level of service. I was in a stressful situation where I was essentially stranded and needed to make a flight, and the manager personally stepped in and drove me. That level of kindness and dedication is something I will never forget. This hotel is truly something special. If you’re even considering hosting an event or a wedding here, I cannot recommend it enough—go see it for yourself. It is beyond worth it, and you will absolutely fall in love.

A Historic Gem: Modern Luxury Meets Timeless Charm The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is a truly unique destination that perfectly balances accessibility with total immersion. Despite being conveniently located near the interstate and major thoroughfares, the moment you arrive on the grounds, you feel worlds away in a secluded, peaceful valley. The resort is steeped in history, and the property leans into that nostalgic "step back in time" atmosphere while maintaining the highest modern standards. You are only a mile from downtown Bedford—which offers a fantastic variety of local shops and dining—but with the hiking trails, bike paths, and a top-tier golf course right on-site, you may never want to leave the property. Highlights of the experience: • Amenities: The renovated pool area is stunning, and the world-class spa is a must-visit for total relaxation. • Dining: With several distinct restaurants on-site, the culinary variety ensures there is something for every palate. • Service: The staff is exceptional—professional, courteous, and consistently attentive to every detail. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway or looking for an impressive venue for a business conference, this resort is a premier choice. It’s a rare find that feels both grand and intimate all at once. Highly recommended!
