Incredible place! We sadly were just stopping through for 1 day on a roadtrip but would have loved to stay longer. Tiny cabins were adorable in every way and the bed was so comfortable my child asked me to find the mattress brand before we left.. if this wasnt 4 states over we'd be here again for sure!

We loved staying here. The cabin we stayed in was great. It was clean, spacious, decorated nicely, and looked brand new. The shower was great, the bed was so comfortable and large, and the living room had such a big window with a view of the forest, and we couldn't help but sit by it all day. The hot tub and shared pool were both clean and fairly large. There is a short trail that takes you to a beautiful pond and even a camp store, that came very much in handy when we realized we forgot to pack a few items. We could even park right at the campsite so we didn't have to walk to and from our car. I only had one minor complaint about flies and someone from the campground came over within 5 minutes to deliver us stuff to take care of the issue. There were also a variety of items that I have never gotten in any rental/airbnb, such as cooking spices, makeup wipes, robes, and extra throw blankets, that really makes me think this campground thinks and cares about it's guests. This is a great place for any vacation, but especially for an anniversary. Hope to come back again sometime!

We enjoyed our stay at Hartman Campground! The cabin was perfect for us. We enjoyed the area by visiting three nearby state parks. The facilities we very clean and well maintained. I would just suggest installing grab bars in the showers for us old folks?

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. The cabin was very nice inside and out. All sheets and comforters were on the beds, there were pans and flatware in the kitchen. There was a stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. We loved the fishing pond and there were canoes freely available. There were two sand volleyball courts, two pickleball courts, basketball hoops and of course the pool.

Great weekend getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to State College for a nice day trip with lots to do. Cabins were beautiful, clean and well stocked. Pet friendly so we got to bring our dog which was great! She enjoyed her stay just as much as us! Staff was always super friendly and helpful during any interaction.

Hartman Campground was AMAZING!. We highly recommend staying there. Our family was there for a wedding and we rented three tiny houses. The houses were beautiful, spacious and contained EVERYTHING needed. Extremely clean. No issues at all and we only interacted with the staff to say hello... they were very friendly. Gave us tips on trails and things to do. We will visit there again!

We stayed at Hartman Center Campground for a family wedding that took place in the Chapel on the grounds and reception in the open pavilion. The grounds and public areas are very well kept, clean and safe. The cabins were spotless and comfortable, had amenities you need including AC and comfortable beds. The campground is easily walkable, quiet at night and was all around a very enjoyable stay.

We needed a place to stay for my daughter’s PSU graduation. Hartman Center was great! We stayed in a cabin that was fully stocked. Clean, comfy, very nice interior with a good size kitchen to use. Easy drive to Penn State!

Great little campground in Milroy,PA. This was our first time visiting. Got a long, level pull through site #42. Had no trouble getting in or leveling up. All utilities worked well including the WiFi. Nice little walking trail around the catch and release pond. Price per night is also very reasonable! Would recommend!

My Boyfriend and I stayed here March 21-23, 2026. We really enjoyed staying here. Probably my favorite cabin experience, as an avid traveler in this part of PA. The campground is well maintained, and very pleasant for just hanging around and relaxing. The hot tub was amazing Saturday night when it was a bit chilly outside! My only wish is that the bath towels were a bit bigger! We also had a little trouble getting a fire going because the wood wasn’t quite dry, i assume due to some rain just prior to our stay. Overall a serene experience, and we will absolutely be back before the end of the summer :) XOXO
